South Ripley High School baseball star Brady Linkel will cross state lines to play collegiate Division I baseball.
Linkel signed the letter of intent on November 11 to continue his academic and athletic career at Ohio University.
The senior pitcher is one of seven signs for Ohio’s 2022 recruitment course.
Linkel is a strike pitcher and strikes 52 strokes in 36.2 innings. His ERA over this range is 0.95. Linkel also threw a perfect game as a beginner.
Aside from performing well on the baseball diamond, Linkel is a National Honor Society member and a four-time Honor Roll member.
