Havana, April 30 (RHC) - The President of the World Baseball-Softball Confederation, Riccardo Fraccari, has expressed his sincere condolences on the passing of Ernesto Reynoso, National Commissioner for Our National Pastime.
In a letter addressed to Osvaldo Vento, president of the National Institute of Sport, Riccardo Fraccari emphasizes: “The association is deeply shocked and saddened by the news of the unexpected death of Ernesto Reynoso”.
The President of the World Baseball Confederation also acknowledges that “Ernesto Reynoso played a very important role in the new development strategy of Cuban baseball, while acting as a commissioner, always with great motivation, professionalism and passion for our sport.
He wrote that this is a “big loss for Cuban baseball” and sent his “deepest condolences”.
