Havana, September 7 (RHC) .- Cuba makes its debut against the Dominican Republic in the third World Cup in 23 years.
The game airs Sept. 23 in Sonora, Mexico.
The next day, the Cubans, still in Sonora, must compete against the Mexicans, according to the official website of the World Baseball Softball Confederation.
In Group E, Cuba will then face Taipei in China on the 25th, against Germany on the 26th and the Czech Republic on the 27th. These last three matches will be held in Ciudad Obregon.
The three best places in each group will qualify for the super round which will define the medal competitors.
The 33 pre-selected Cuban players are currently preparing for a bubble at José Antonio Huelga Stadium in Sancti Spiritus.
