Madden and Hansen were named the Central All-Region First Team, making them eligible for the ABCA / Rawlings All-America Awards.

Madden was named the Longhorns’ first Big 12 Pitcher of the Year since Taylor Jungmann in 2011 and the seventh Longhorn overall.
Hansen has produced a 1.84 ERA and a 9-1 record of 13 starts this season. In 83 1/3 rounds, he has struck out 72 strokes and produced a .200 opponent stroke average.
Melendez, a second team pick, is tied for team management with a .321 batting average and leads Longhorns with 12 homers and a .610 slugging percentage. He has 46 RBI and 34 races scored this season.
