Tulane Baseball is still a regional and conference powerhouse. Last season, Olive and Blue went 31-24, including 17-10 in conference games, on the way to a semifinals in the American Athletic Conference Championship. The team defended their home field especially well, when they went 20-11 at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. Thanks to a strong season five Tulane players were selected in the latest MLB draft.
Looking at this upcoming season, Tulane was judged to have recruited 27th best class in the country. The heading this incoming class is Teo Banks and Jackson Linn. Banks made the Texas state team first-team pick last season and won the district’s MVP awards en route to a 30-10 season with Permian High School of Odessa, Texas. Banks was an athlete with two sports, and wrote three times for the legendary football team Permian Panthers. Banks was drafted in the 12th round of the MLB draft by the Chicago Cubs, but instead chose to play for Green Wave this season.
Linn, from Boston, can also boast of an impressive CV that goes into its first year with Green Wave. The player hit an above-ground 522 in his final year and was drafted in the 20th round by the Houston Astros.

Morrow played his last two seasons with PSU.
For the intersquad Fall Ball World Series, the team split into a blue team, captained by Luis Aviles, and a green team, captained by Bennett Lee. The blue team triumphed in the first two matches, the opponents survive 3-0 in a pitching duel with seven innings in the first game, and won 4-3 in the second, even if the other game was lost by the winning team due to violation of technical rules.
