The French Division 1 baseball championship is the highest level in French baseball.

The first season of Division 1 baseball took place in 1926, two years after the establishment of the French Federation of Baseball and Softball.

The 2020 season has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Format

A season takes place in two stages, a so-called regular phase where the teams compete in round trips (double program, two games during the day) and a so-called playoff phase where the season’s best teams participate punctured by French baseball series, a final series in the best of five matches between the two best teams in the playoffs.
