As with traditional baseball players, the players in this program are members of a team, they wear uniforms, and they use the same equipment to play their games, which are held in local baseball parks. Each player has a “buddy” who can help him during the match and encourage him when he is on the ball or playing in defense. These buddies can, for example, push a wheelchair to walk around the bases, hold the stick and help the player take off when he hits, protect the player from bullets when he is in defense, etc.
