CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – Going out to the ball game will have a familiar feel at Progressive Field again.
For the first time since September 2019 launched Cleveland Indians will welcome back a full capacity audience.
It is still tickets available to tonight’s game against the Seattle Mariners.
The first pitch is at 19:10 with Aaron Civale taking the pile.
The weather will cooperate as well.
It starts a stretch of one Cleveland Indians’ home games through June 17th.
But many of these initial pandemic precautions are no more.
Masks are optional. Because full capacity is back, it means people will no longer sit in pods, but just fill the stands as they did in a pre-pandemic world.

Fireworks, dollar dogs, $ 2 beers before the game and giveaways at the door.

For the players, they will feel the energy of a stadium full of fans.
For Cleveland, it marks the return of classic summer joy and traditions people missed during the pandemic.
The Indians only have a mobile entrance and ask that you do not use cash for transactions in the park to limit contact between person and person.
