Anthony Robert, the suspect who was arrested Thursday morning in the violent attack of a 23-year-old with a baseball bat in Cowansville, is now facing justice.
The alleged perpetrator is accused of assault with a weapon, assault that causes bodily harm and death threats. He remains in custody until he appears in court, scheduled for next Monday.
The victim was allegedly brutally beaten with a baseball bat. The assault took place late Wednesday afternoon on rue des Textiles, near the railway tracks.
