Saguenay Voyageurs won easily with a score of 10 to 3 against Charlesbourg Alouettes in the opening of the playoffs on Thursday night at Richard-Desmeules Stadium.

The leading scorer in the Quebec Elite Junior Baseball League this season, William Pichette des Voyageurs, has had three hits in four appearances.

Saguenay quickly dominated the match and took a 7-0 lead after just two innings.

The next two matches in this three of five series will take place in Charlesbourg on Saturday. If other matches are needed, they will take place at Jonquière Stadium on Sunday.
