In today’s clash at Sahlen Field, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. scored. and Cavan Biggio each doubled in the third and fifth rounds, respectively, to help them afford this victory.
Guerrero fils has also crossed the record himself on one occasion, while teammate Teoscar Hernandez has achieved this feat twice.
On the mound, starter Ross Stripling allowed the two opposing points, including one on a solo hometown of Ryan Mountcastle. In six innings, he struck out three strokes, in addition to allowing six hits and one turn. For his part, the legacy held, and in the end it was Jordan Romano who signed the rescue, his sixth of the campaign.
The Blue Jays will have a day off Monday before hosting the Seattle Mariners for a three-game series.
