The St. Elizabeth Hornets ended the baseball season this fall with a 12-8 victory on Friday at Calvary Lutheran, when Carson Kesel hit a couple of home runs.
Kesel led the game with a solo shot for St. Elizabeth (8-7), hitting a two-run home run later in the game as part of a 4-for-4 outing on the plate. He had five RBIs, scored four races and drew one turn. Ian Green hit 1-for-3 with an RBI double in the fifth lap, drove in four races and drew two laps.
Clayton Holtmeyer threw five innings, allowing six runs on nine hits and a walk while hitting nine in a no-decision. Green got the victory in two rounds of relief, and allowed two races on five hits with a strike.
