The BELLE-Eugene Eagles had four pitchers in total to toss a four-pointer Tuesday in a 10-1 win over the Belle Tigers.
Drew Sommerer hit the first inning, went one and knocked out one, while Colby Renn, Chris Bradley and Cameron Koetting each threw two reliefs. Reed struck out four and Bradley added a strikeout.
Eugene led 5-0 through two rounds and scored the last five races at the top of the seventh. The Eagles hit back-to-back home runs in the seventh, when Tyler Renn hit a two-run burst to the left field and Colby Renn followed with a solo shot to the right.
Koetting finished 4-for-4 with three singles and a triple, while Javan Steinhardt finished 3-for-4 with three singles and three RBI. Tyler Renn was 2-on-4, adding a double in the first half, and Colby Renn had two RBIs, adding an RBI base in the first.
Eugene (2-0) hosts New Bloomfield today to open Show-Me Conference games.
