Perfect Game Baseball is back in town

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG) -Perfect Game Baseball set up camp at the Panama City Beach Sports Complex for a few days.

The WWBA 14U Championship in 2020 started on Friday and will end on Monday, and will host 36 teams from all over, including some international teams.

One of the main goals of perfect play is to give players exposure on the recruiting track, something tournament director Korey Hall says is even more important this season given the changes made with the COVID-19 pandemic, but that is not the only goal this weekend. Players also make an equipment transition.

“This is our youngest wooden paw in the world, so it is their first time to go from the 13U with the larger barrels to now the wooden bat. It is a big transition, but it is also exciting for them to get the wood in their hands like the guys they watch on TV, “said Hall.
