Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire: Prospects Jo Adell, Luis Gil impressed in their 2021 debut; Abraham Toro continues to mash

Remember Jo adell, that the all-all prospect, which came with a dund last year, knocked out 41.7 percent of the time while Angels just kept driving him out there?

Well, he’s back and better than ever!

OK … so that does not say much. But his debut on Tuesday in 2021 where he went 3 for 4 with a double, a trip and a stolen base was without a doubt the best of his now 39 matches in the majors so far. The only other in the discussion was a two-homer show in August last year.

And it is instructive to point out that as bad as Adell was last year, he was still capable of such a game. After all, a simple game can only tell us so much. Hiking free looked like he was going to take the league by storm in his first game for Rays this year. ditto Jarred Kelenic in his second fight for Marinate. It has not been like that.

But Tuesday’s performance was still exactly what you hoped to see from Adell in his first game back in the major leagues, and of course every breakout begins with one big game.

As it turns out, he was not the only caller who impressed in his debut on Tuesday 2021 …

Possible waiver of wire pickups
