A boxing match between two former UFC champions, now retired, Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz, who will set foot in the arena in Los Angeles on September 11.
According to what MMA Fighting learned on Wednesday, the duel will take place at the Staples Center as part of the Triller Fight Club, in the same event that will include Oscar De La Hoya and Vitor Belfort as the main match.
The clash between Silva and Ortiz will take place with a weight of 195 kg.
Earlier this week, Ortiz had mentioned that he was preparing to enter a ring, adding that Logan Paul had “missed the opportunity” to meet him.
In 2019, Ortiz had easily won by submitting in the first round a duel against the star of the world for wrestling Alberto El Patron.
He had previously beaten two other former big names in his discipline, Chuck Liddell and Chael Sonnen. However, it will be the first time in a boxing ring for The Huntington Beach Bad Boy.
Silva, 46, will put on the gloves again after defeating former champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in an eight-round match that was presented in Mexico City in June.
