Wednesday, 14-year-old Brianna Boel was hit by a car crossing a busy Louisville intersection, fracturing her skull and breaking her wrist and leg. In an attempt to pick up his daughter’s spirits prior to her surgery, her dad asked her to remember the strength of Louisville’s Kevin Ware. “She perked right up,” her dad said. Well, news spread and guess who showed up on the same day to visit her right out of surgery?
