As a female development and leadership coordinator.
Vanessa will have several tasks as development coordinator and female management. She will continue to promote women’s baseball provincially to provide more space for girls on the court.
It will also help women to take on more key positions in our organizations and associations. Finally, she will manage the various activities of the provincial women’s teams. Now girls and women will be supported to develop well, regardless of the role they play in baseball.
A trained kinesiologist, Vanessa knows the world of women’s sports, especially baseball, in Repentigny. She played the sport all her youth and then participated in international competitions with the Canadian women’s team, and she also played baseball in Australia for a few months. The experience in her professional life combined with her many years as a baseball player makes her the perfect candidate to bring women’s baseball to the province.
“I am very happy to see a woman who has just come from our structure, return to the board. Vanessa has the tools and credibility in baseball to take women’s and women’s baseball to new heights in our league. Baseball is part of its DNA, and it will be good for all the young girls in our structure, comments Maxime Lamarche, general manager of Baseball Quebec.
