(Toronto) The Toronto Blue Jays have finally not added outfielder Michael Brantley to their list for the next three seasons, according to several media reports.
Earlier Wednesday, several major media outlets reported on the signing of the contract. Sportsnet and The Athletic later reported that negotiations between the two clans are continuing.
The Blue Jays did not immediately respond to requests from The Canadian Press.
General manager Ross Atkins is quite active: late Tuesday night, the Jays signed a $ 150 million six-year pact with outfielder George Springer, a Brantley teammate with the Houston Astros.
Jumper’s contract must be confirmed by medical tests.
