Southeastern Baseball to name a team in all decades

HAMMOND, La. – To celebrate more than seven decades of intercollegiate competition, the Southeast Louisiana Baseball Program is working to call the All-Decade Team, which covers a 70-year span from the 1950s to the 2010s.

A multi-generation project, team voting and announcements will take place over the next few months leading up to the 2021 NCAA Baseball season with the final teams added to the program’s record book.

All former Southeastern baseball lettermen are eligible to vote for each of the seven teams that make up the All-Decade Team. Ballot papers will be sent by e-mail. An executive committee consisting of current and former coaches, players and SIDs will oversee the establishment of the final team structure.

Lettermen who are interested in participating are asked to contact the assistant sports information director Damon healthy ( or baseball Tom Dawsey ( at the Lion Athletics Association office to be added to the mailing list.


Southeastern is implementing mobile ticketing as the primary method of securing tickets during the school year 2020-21. Tickets will be available via email in PDF format for fans to download on the phone or print at home. Tickets can also be downloaded to the Apple Wallet.

Fans interested in becoming active fans of the baseball program are encouraged to join the Diamond Club. Lion Baseballalum is invited to join the exclusive S Club, which is limited to Southeastern athletic letter winners.
