The Canadian junior baseball team, and the US collegiate team, will arrive in Cuba next July to play bilateral matches with the Cubans.
The Canadians arrive at Juan Gualberto Gómez International Airport in the coastal city of Varadero on July 3, and a day later they meet the Cubans at the Victoria de Girón Stadium in the city of Matanzas. They are expected to perform 9 matches.
These challenges will serve as preparations for visitors to the Pan American Championship in the category scheduled for September 5-14 in the Mexican city of Lagos de Moreno, and serve as a qualifying match for the 2015 World Cup.
The collegiate committee of the United States, for its part, will arrive in our country on July 22 from the Netherlands for the third bilateral meeting with Cuba, which this time will take place on July 23 and 24 at Victoria de Girón Stadium, de Matanzas, and at Capitán San Luís Stadium, in Pinar del Río, 25, 26 and 27 July.
These matches, Cuba- USA resumed in 2012 at the Latinoamericano stadium in Havana. Their second meeting took place last year at several American stadiums.
Cuba dominated three of the five matches the first year, but in 2013 the Americans won all five.
