The Tennessee Titans put quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s name on the COVID-19 reserve list Thursday.
The shift has been vaccinated against COVID-19, and his absence must be for a period of five to ten days, so that he can receive two negative diagnoses during a 48-hour window.
The Titans’ season opener is September 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. Since training with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Florida, the Titans have seen seven of the players diagnosed as positive for COVID-19.
Head coach Mike Vrabel was also added to the squad last Sunday. Former Titans kicker Ryan Succop, who now plays for the Bucs, also had a positive result.
