NEW YORK-Seattle Mariners will host the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in 2023 at T-Mobile Park.
The Mariners have announced that there will be a press conference on Thursday at 4pm EST at the Space Needle.
Commissioner Rob Manfred will be there, as will Ken Griffey Jr. and Edgar Martinez.
We want to confirm that the all-star game in Seattle is coming, says a source familiar with the matter. The person requested anonymity as there was no official announcement.
The Kingdome hosted the event in 1979 and the current stadium hosted it in 2001. It was then the final appearance of this match for Tony Gwynn and Cal Ripken Jr.
The All-Star Game of 2022 premieres at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on July 19th.
