Madison Resident who collects “carefully used” baseball and softball equipment for underprivileged youth

MADISON, NJ – Madison resident Michael Sciarra has partnered with a local business to collect baseball and softball equipment for underprivileged youth. Residents can deliver their “carefully used” equipment to Alfred’s Sport Shop from now until April 2, 2021.

Approved items include: Bats, balls, bathing gloves, fishing gear, blocks, gloves, heart protectors, helmets, equipment bags, mittens, pants, etc. Bring all donations to Alfred and place them in the donation box in the store. Alfred’s Sport Shop is located at 32 Main Street in Madison.

My hope is that the children can play ball regardless of their financial circumstances’, said Sciarra. “Thank you for allowing your equipment to play extra rounds!”
