Jacksonville, FL – The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp made some big announcements on Monday for the upcoming baseball season.
The team will start wishing fans back with 45% capacity on the opening day on May 4, hoping to increase the number later in the season.
Fans will also be able to watch fireworks 19 times this season – after each home game on Friday night, the first five Saturday games, opening night on September 4, September 5 and September 12.
In addition, the club announced a partnership with Cox Media Group, Action News Jax’s parent company, to make ESPN 690 the new flagship station for Jumbo Shrimp baseball. All 120 games will be streamed online and on mobile devices at www.espn690.com.
The team has expanded its relationship with FIS as a sponsor through 2025.
