TORONTO – Three Toronto Blue Jays players were named Major League Baseball’s elite team on Tuesday.
The first goal Vladimir Guerrero Jr., the second goal Marcus Semien and left-hander Robbie Ray were thus honored.
Outfielder Teoscar Hernandez is part of the Meritorious Second Brigade.
Guerrero has beaten 0.311 this year, and has produced 111 points and is in first place with the American in the home race, with 48.
The semi hit for .265 with 102 RBI. He also set a major league record for a second baseman who hit 45 long balls.
The American’s Cy Young receiver, Ray was 13-7 and averaged 2.84.
Guerrero and Semien were finalists for America’s Most Valuable Player. The credit went to Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels.
