Sixty percent of Quebecers oppose the idea of ​​Quebec donating public money for the construction of a baseball stadium in Montreal, a project led by the wealthy Bronfman family.

This reveals the results of a survey conducted by the company Léger on behalf of “Journal”. It was conducted between March 26 and 28 with 1,000 respondents across the province.

In the CMA area of ​​Quebec, 60% of residents do not want the state to get financially involved in this multi-million dollar project, the goal of which is to bring a baseball team back to the country. .

For the Montreal CMA, the data are the same, since 59% of respondents reject the idea of ​​government financial participation in this project.
