Sixty percent of Quebecers oppose the idea of Quebec donating public money for the construction of a baseball stadium in Montreal, a project led by the wealthy Bronfman family.
This reveals the results of a survey conducted by the company Léger on behalf of “Journal”. It was conducted between March 26 and 28 with 1,000 respondents across the province.
In the CMA area of Quebec, 60% of residents do not want the state to get financially involved in this multi-million dollar project, the goal of which is to bring a baseball team back to the country. .
For the Montreal CMA, the data are the same, since 59% of respondents reject the idea of government financial participation in this project.
