Two Quebec baseball players, Abraham Toro and Charles Leblanc, are at the heart of a six-game series between their respective clubs, the Sugar Land Skeeters and the Round Rock Express, at the AAA level.
Toro’s lineup, which is logically linked to the Houston Astros, had the upper hand with a 2-1 score Thursday night in the first of the settlements held at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, TX.
The two Quebeckers were limited to each turn in this defensive duel that consisted of seven balls that were hit from a safe place.
