Baseball Legend Bob Gibson Dies – Baseball – MLB

There is a legend from all over the Atlantic who traveled at night from Friday to Saturday. Bob Gibson died at the age of 84 of pancreatic cancer. Hall of Famer, Bob Gibson has played his entire career with the St. Louis Cardinals. His jersey, 45, was retired by the Cardinals in 1975.

In Missouri, Gibson won two World Series, in 1964 and 1967, was crowned World Series MVP both times. Nine times All-Star, Gibson was also named National League MVP in 1968, as well as National League top pitcher, The Cy Young Award, twice in 1968 and 1970.

A demented record that allowed Bob Gibson to enter Baseball Hall of Fame in 1981, thanks to an incredible career for Nebraska natives.
