HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University Baseball Team (3-7) hosts West Virginia Mountaineers (8-7) on Tuesday at the Kennedy Center on Route 2 at 3 p.m.
This is the first time WVU has visited Huntington since April 5, 1988.

Starting pitcher John cheated went 4.2 laps on Sunday and gave up just two races. Among qualifying pitchers for MU, he leads with a 4.91 ERA.
Starting pitcher Raymond Pacella has struck out 17 strokes this season to lead the greens and whites.
Shortstop Geordon blandon has stolen five bases on seven attempts in the team’s first 10 games this season.
Mountaineers has a record of 8-7 seasons. This weekend, WVU lost two of three in Morgantown to Coastal Carolina, fell 5-2 on Friday, won 5-4 on Saturday and lost 9-6 on Sunday.
Mikey Kluska leads the team with a stroke average of .362 and has brought home a team-best 12 RBI.
Matt McCormick and Kevin Brophy have each blown up a four-team home run this season. Brophy has also run in 10 RBI tied for others on the mountain climbers.
The game in Huntington will be free admission for spectators. However, there is very limited capacity within the Kennedy Center, and it is first come, first served. When the capacity is reached, spectators will not be admitted to the venue.
