FULLERTON, California. Cal State Fullerton hits the road for its first game of the week against UCLA No. 8 at Jackie Robinson Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Titans (3-3) come with a series loss against San Diego last weekend, while UCLA (4-3) enters the competition after defeating Big West rival UC Irvine in a three-series.
UCLA entered the season as the No. 2 team in the country and has after a somewhat slow start to the season dropped back to No. 8, but is certainly still one of the best teams in the country.
Fullerton will send freshman Christain Rodriguez to the mound Tuesday night against the Bruins. Rodriguez has shown his talent in two appearances this season, throwing 3.1 innings and giving up just two hits while not allowing any runs and striking out four strokes.
