Mission/Info (Via the website): CJ Miles Allstars foundation was established in April 2007, but has always been an integral force in the community. As a kid Calvin Miles Sr, was inspired by his Pee Wee League baseball coach, Arthur MacIntosh, who sacrificed his time, money, and his family to help individuals including himself, who did not have a male figure present in their lives to give them the guidance and direction that was much needed to nurture young aspiring athletes. As a result, Calvin started coaching in 1989 and created K-Town Ballers in May 2001.
After several years of coaching and developing youth, Calvin renamed the organization D-Nice Basketball to better develop CJ and other youth with a similar interest to excel in basketball. As of recently, Calvin Sr. and CJ Miles have collaborated together to help reach more communities across this nation and world with the establishment of the CJ Miles Allstars Foundation.
