Our Mission: The Good in Sports, Inc. is a non-profit public relations company devoted to educating the public about the positive influence athletics has on the community, while encouraging, promoting and engaging in philanthropic activities in professional and collegiate athletics. We believe in highlighting the many ways coaches, athletes and teams give back, providing an alternative, more uplifting perspective on sports news than is normally reported, thus promoting positive role models for our youth.

Disheartened by all of the negative news stories about athletes dominating the internet and seeing the need for a different spin and more uplifting voice in sports news, The Good in Sports, part of The Good Nation, was born. Our goal is to tackle the negative perception of athletics by highlighting the ways professional and collegiate athletes, coaches and sports teams give back to their communities, act as role models and enrich the lives of their fans.

With that said, The Good in Sports is not just about disseminating a positive message, but also about making a difference. So, how to we do it?

#1: Through our “GAME CHANGER” program, The Good In Sports utilizes its close relationships with professional and collegiate sports teams, sometimes in partnership with other organizations, to provide unique and memorable sports experiences for people who generally would never be afforded that opportunity otherwise. We’ve initiated personal experiences for those with physical and intellectual disabilities, for those who have gone through traumatic experiences, or just those super passionate fans who have unique stories. It’s our way of making a difference through sports and something we’re very passionate about doing. If you have a unique story or know someone that would benefit from such an experience, contact us!

#2: We believe in recognizing those that make a difference. So, we’ve created some cool shirts to give out to coaches and athletes that exemplify sportsmanship and community building. It’s another way we try to make a difference in the community and recognize those that do the same! Do you know of a coach or athlete that is a GAME CHANGER?
