Peterson wrote a check for $50,000 from his “All Day Foundation” and donated it to Team Rubicon, a disaster response veteran service organization. Team Rubicon (TR) gives veterans the opportunity to continue their service by helping and providing assistance to those struck by disasters. TR combines the skills and experience of military veterans with first responders to quickly deploy emergency response teams into crisis situations.
“Military veterans choose to serve even after they take off the uniform because they want to dedicate themselves to a cause larger than their own,” said Adrian Peterson, running back for Minnesota Vikings. “Supporting organizations like Team Rubicon before, during, and after times of disaster allows them to continue their important missions in communities worldwide.”
“When our country is in need, veterans respond,” said Jacob Wood, President and Co-Founder of Team Rubicon. “Adrian’s generous support of our mission will enable Team Rubicon to broaden and accelerate our response efforts in future crisis situations.”
