On Friday, May 11th, the San Diego Chargers will celebrate the life of one of their organization’s most iconic football players, Junior Seau. The ceremony, which will be held at Qualcomm Stadium and will include a number of guest speakers, will allow fans the opportunity to participate in a community-wide tribute to a man who was the face of the franchise for many years. Seau, the 12 time Pro-Bowler, passed away on May 2, at just 43 years old.
The ceremony is open to the public and admission and parking are free. The parking lot will open at 2, while the gates will open at 4:30.
