Eager baseball fans are excited to be at Hammond Stadium this morning in Fort Myers, Florida. The seventh annual Dave Clark Disability Dream Day is taking place expanding awareness to people living with disabilities by highlighting their potential and accomplishments. As people were filing in, Fort Myers Miracle President, Steve Gliner, told me “this is the best event of the year”.
Before the festivities began, Dave Clark and Fort Myers Miracle Manager, Jake Mauer, addressed the Miracle in their clubhouse. Mr. Clark explained to them his story and encouraged them to follow their dreams and enjoy themselves during the event. As players hit the field, it’s sure to be a day to remember for many.
