Coyotes & Alice Cooper hook up

How can you possibly go wrong with hockey, honoring the military and rocker Alice Cooper? Check it out below! For those keeping track, I believe this is the first reference to Alice Cooper on the TGiS site! Rock on!

Via the Coyotes: GLENDALE, ARIZONA — Phoenix Coyotes President & Chief Operating Officer Mike Nealy announced today that the Coyotes will honor United States service members on “Coop’s Troops Night” on Saturday, February 18 when the Coyotes host the Dallas Stars. The first 10,000 fans entering Jobing.com Arena that night will receive an Alice Cooper bobble head. Alice Cooper will be in attendance and will participate in the ceremonial pre-game puck drop.

“We are proud to host Coop’s Troops Night and honor our military service men and women who keep our country and state safe,” said Nealy. “We are excited to have Alice Cooper join us for this special night.”

As a special a special thank you the Coyotes are offering active Military and Veterans alike a special ticket offer for the game.  Select upper bowl tickets will be priced at just $20 and lower bowl seats at $50.  This offer is good only at the Jobing.com Arena box office.  A valid military ID must be presented at time of purchase to receive this offer.

Arizona is home to military bases for the Army, Marines and the Air Force. The Valley of the Sun supports more than 5,200 active military and civilian personnel at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale and another 70,000 family members and retirees.
